Oh noooo. That’s the worst. We run into a lot of sewer problems on our street due to tree roots.

As I was finishing cleaning up the shower from the grout mess a chunk of my sponge broke away and floated down the drain. I tried to plunge it, I tried a heavy duty drain cleaner, and I tried a pipe snake to no avail. So then I went to the basement to try to open up a clean out and then accidentally busted my pipes wide open with my superhuman strength. The tub drained-but into the basement. I called a plumber and he said my pipes are soo old he’d have to get special parts to fix them and would be back in the morning. Four hours of quality plumber time and 460 dollars later I have a new waste & overflow system as well as new drain pipes back to the main line. I was remidned why I have to do everything myslef but boy was it nice to have somebody else worry about a house problem for once.
