I knew that I should have painted them in the summer. I knew if I kept putting it off I’d regret it. I’m not usually a procrastinator. But, here I am painting my storm windows in the middle of October, when I should be putting them on. One at a time. Reglazing them taping them, cleaning off the glass in a cold garage. Fun times.
In the process I painted over a lot of the labels so I’ll have a fun puzzle later when I’m ready to put them on. The storms are black now instead of white. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to label them. The best I can come up with is a white marker, or I did see some numbered push pins online somewhere that are specifically for this purpose, but perhaps there is a better idea out there.
Label the sides, where it won’t show? I would think a weatherproof marker would do fine.
They make brass numbered tacks specifically for this purpose. One for the jamb, one for the storm.
